Our Leadership​

The administration of the Association shall be entrusted to the Committee, herein referred to as Executive Committee, and shall consist of the following to be elected at an Annual General Meeting:

  • Chairperson.
  • Vice-Chairperson.
  • Secretary.
  • Vice-Secretary.
  • Treasurer.
  • Four (4) Additional Committee Members

Our Vision

Why?

“Normally we do have a lot of people, especially the working class, who complain about the eye problems, which is normally due to too much exposure to light such as computers and even too much reading.” – Dr. Rejoice Mohamadi

In furtherance of the spirit of BOA’s founding members and the late Dr. Mohamadi, the Association may do such charitable things as may be of benefit to Batswana. These shall include but not limited to working with other charitable organization to provide:

  • Free vision screening..
  • Free management of eye conditions, e.g., refractive errors and provision of free spectacles.
  • Provision of free educational materials and lectures organizations or parties.
  • Participation in vision campaigns in Botswana.
